This is the most common error code in South Africa. It indicates that your decoder is not receiving a signal from the satellite dish, often due to weather or loose brackets.
The Fix: Check for obstructions. If the weather is clear and the error persists, we perform a precision realignment using a satellite finder tool.
This error usually means your subscription is not active or hasn't been updated. It can also occur if the decoder has been switched off for a long period.
The Fix: Clear the error via the DStv Self-Service portal. If the error remains, we check for authorization communication issues.
This is specific to MultiView/ExtraView setups. It means the secondary decoder is not receiving the "heartbeat" signal from the primary decoder.
The Fix: We inspect the heartbeat cable for breaks or loose connectors and ensure user bands are configured correctly.
